有买过第四版百科全书的么？

第三版是到2002年，新版的变成2001年了，还少了1年的。不知道为啥。

    哪里呀，2001年美泰火柴盒正辉煌得很呢。我觉得这本书的看点几乎没有（如果已经买了第三版的话）。可能是修正了一些以前的错误表述，老许可能会感兴趣，但是欧美人的观点与我们的不同，有时逻辑也未必正确。至于少一年的问题，可能有其他原因。照片也有版权，可能授权方没有放出来2001年以后的吧，还有就是许可的问题，美泰方面是有许可权的，但放到多大跨度就不清楚。我对这种百科全书的态度是既不能不信，也不能全信，而且有一本装装样子就可以了，毕竟与欧美人相比，咱们收车的任务远还没有完成……

   个人觉得吧，百科全书也不是万能的，毕竟光靠CM一个人是不可能把所有涂装都集齐的，而且第三版当中有很多错误。我现在综合参考MCCH以及

Christian Falkensteiner的感觉就差不多了，太稀罕的货色咱也弄不起

比第三版少了一年是挺奇怪的。美国收藏家一般都依赖Charlie Mack及他的另外一本书 The Big Book of Superfast Matchbox Toys 1969-2004，如书名所述，这本书含括到2004年的火柴盒，关于2004年后的疑问他们会直接问CM。他们也一直在让CM更新他的书但CM目前还没有什么意愿。

CM在近期似乎有所懈怠，从许多新品都没有Mack #就能看出来。也许人家也想退休，只是“被一些势力挟持”以后欲罢不能了吧……[em82]
